Skirts = Endless Capsule Wardrobe Options!
So I'm just going to jump right in and list some amazing sustainable spring skirts that you will be able to wear well over 50 times this year. These are high quality, durable, and dreamy. Enjoy!
Sold on Etsy / Made in Slovakia / Ships Worldwide / Price: 80 euros
This skirt is made with either a set size or your custom dimensions – meaning, you can send Kamila your measurements and she creates you a skirt that will fit like a dream – ANY SIZE!! I personally own this skirt in two colors: roobois and ochre. These are my MOST worn skirts of all time and I have worn them hundreds of times. The new skirts also have an elasticated waist band (this one does not) for more stretch. Love that.
The skirts are made of very high quality linen that just gets softer and more beautiful with each and every wash. I will wear the skirt for quite a while before washing because of how durable it is (and I always wear some kind of shorts underneath). Spot cleaning is a dream and I even wear this skirt from Spring straight through Fall with various layers. You will NOT regret getting this skirt. Shop here!
Made fair in Cambodia / Ships from USA / World Wide Shipping Options / Price: $64 USD
This skirt is just phenomenal. I love skirts that don't require me to be a certain size – that allow my beautiful body to fluctuate in weight and bloat as she very well pleases and still look good. That is this skirt!!! It is tulip shaped which allows it to drape beautifully around the body and can be paired with t-shirts, button ups, body suits, and sweaters! This size ranges from a XS to an XXL.
The lotus skirt wraps around the waist through a loop and ties on the side (or anywhere you want to tie it). I was even able to wear this skirt when I was 4 months pregnant with no problem whatsoever. The fabric is unknown because Tonlé creates a lot of their products from reclaimed textiles as part of their unique zero waste process. The skirt was made in Cambodia by their amazing artisans (who are treated with so much love and respect) and I am just in awe of their craftsmanship! Shop the skirt here.
Sold on Etsy / Made in Lithuania / WorldWide Shipping / Price: 69 euros
This sustainable linen skirt is probably the most “sophisticated” skirt in the bunch. No matter what you wear this skirt with, a t-shirt / blouse / sweater / crop top, it's going to look top notch. I don't know exactly what it is about this skirt, maybe the length or the silhouette, but it feels simply royal.
I wore this skirt a ton when the weather made the switch from Winter to Fall and just added some thermal tights underneath. Once the spring weather began to heat up our town, I ditched the thermals, paired it with my favourite body suits and linen button up. I feel like a princess every time I wear it! Shop here.
Made fair in Nepal / Sold from the US / Ships to USA and Canada/ Price: 108 USD
Now, I do not own this skirt, but dangggg, she is pretty. I first saw this skirt on the Mata Traders social media page and my mouth just dropped – look at that color!! This skirt is 50% cotton and 50% linen with gorgeous buttons down the front – Bonus, it goes up to a size 2X!
If you have never shopped at Mata Traders before, I highly recommend them and love what they stand for. This skirt was made at a fair trade women's cooperative in Nepal – shop beautiful and shop consciously! You can purchase this dress here.
BIPOC Brand / Made fair in India / Sold from the US / Ships to US and Canada / Price: 228 USD
Valani is a fairly new sustainable fashion brand, but it has really stolen our hearts with its romantic and natural pieces. This sustainable spring skirt is made from 100% Banana Viscose (discarded banana tree stems) that is a vegan alternative to silk! The skirt sizing goes up to a size 12. This fabric is luxurious, breathable, silky, hypo-allergenic, and made in India with love and care! Shop here.
Sold on Etsy / Made in Belarus / WorldWide Shipping / Price: 48 euros
I really enjoy wrap skirts because they will pretty much always fit perfectly and allow your body room to breathe (you can loosen the skirt after a meal – I dig that). This skirt is handmade in Belarus from 100% organic OEKO-Tex® certified linen. Every piece is enzyme treated for reaching soft and luxe shabby texture! I see this skirt in my future, for sure. BIPOC Brand / Handmade in Canada / Sold From Canada / Made to Order with WorldWide Shipping Options / Price: 78 USD
I just found Oge Ajibe's brand this week, through the free label Instagram stories and I am so thankful that I was on social media that day! Her selection of *truly* size inclusive clothing is phenomenal and gorgeous. Just take a look at this skirt! It is made from 90% tencel and 10% spandex which gives it the beautiful hugging shape. Oge's clothing sizes go up to a 5XL which make her the most size inclusive brand of the bunch aside from the custom made pieces – Thank you Oge!! Shop her collection here and don't forget to subscribe to her newsletter!

Sold by our friends at the US Wild Bohem Shop / Handmade in Bali / Sustainable Australian Label / Ships Worldwide / Price 82 USD (Use code: Dani10 for 10% off!)
Talk about a bohemian dream, huh?! So this skirt is sold by our amazing friends at Wild Bohem which is the FIRST every bohemian boutique to carry sustainable Australian boho labels in the USA. I had no idea, but the US doesn't have any sustainable bohemian brands – most of them are made of endless synthetics and under harsh conditions. Thanks to Wild Bohém, you can have your cake and eat it too (meaning – you can dress like a boho goddess without supporting fast fashion). Shop here!
Sold on Etsy / Made in Lithuania / Ships Worldwide / Price: 71 euros
If you are not big on the front buttons but still yearn for a linen skirt with pockets (always need pockets!) then this super simple and relaxed linen skirt from Sand Snow Linen is the one for you. This skirt comes in 4 colors and up to a size XL – although I do believe you can give custom measurements like with most Etsy shops. Shop here!
Sold on Etsy / Made in Lithuania / Ships Worldwide / Price: 103 euros
Y'all, I am crushing HARD on this skirt. I love how the waist portion is much thicker than other brands, how the buttons stop just halfway, and the length of this skirt is so dreamy. This skirt is sold on Etsy (our favourite) and comes in something like 20 colors?! How is one supposed to choose? You can choose between metal or wood buttons and the skirt is 100% linen. (p.s. the linen crop top would look amazing with this – and yes you can wear a crop top at any size – YES YOU CAN!!!). Shop here!
BIPOC Brand / Made to Order in Los Angelos / Ships Internationally / Price 128 USD
So excited to share this BIPOC owned brand with you all again! Two Days Off is an independently woman-owned, carbon neutral brand that is creating waves in the fashion world. Their clothing is made to be loved by its owner – super high quality, long lasting, and effortlessly chic. This sustainable spring skirt caught our attention and stole our hearts with its simple beauty! Shop this gorgeous linen skirt here.
BIPOC Brand / Designed in house by Bethany Yellowtail / Ships Internationally / Price 120 USD
I have a very special place in my heart for Bethany Yellowtail. Bethany created the B. Yellowtail brand that is a Native American owned and operated fashion brand that “specializes in storytelling through wearable art”. Sadly, they do not ship to my country ( they do ship to most countries though!) but I will be a life long customer as soon as we get back to the states. This sustainable skirt has an elasticated waist band and is inspired but the colors of the Native American homelands. It's simply (and exquisitely) gorgeous. Shop here!
Sold on Etsy / Made in Lithuania / WorldWide Shipping / Price: 78 euros
This is one of those skirts that will make you stop and stare, am I right? I saw this photo on their Etsy page and I couldn't stop looking at it. I ended up not purchasing this dress because I have been fluctuating with my weight a ton lately, but if you are pretty much a set size – this is gold. This sustainable spring skirt is 100% linen and can be made with custom measurements. I just want to twirl around in this skirt for hours! Shop here.
Sold by our friends at the US Wild Bohem Shop / Handmade in Bali / Sustainable Australian Label / Ships Worldwide / Price 90 USD (Use code: Dani10 for 10% off!)
Last sustainable spring skirt for our list and another beauty from Wild Bohém. This skirt runs from an XS to XXL and is just a dream to look at. From what our friends at Wild Bohém said, this skirt feels like you are wearing nothing at all. Just flowing through life without a care in the world. Love that! P.s. this skirt has pockets – enough said. Shop here!
