What type of crib material is the safest?
Of all the materials out there, 100% solid wood cribs made of maple, oak, cherry, ash, mahogany, birch, and beech are the safest types to opt for.
Aside from being durable and sturdy, which makes it a long-term, safe investment, non-toxic cribs crafted from solid wood can be treated easily with VCO-free, plant-based, or water-based dyes and finished, and still maintain the same quality.
On top of that, natural wood is not susceptible to water damage and moisture, which isn’t the case with its engineered counterparts.
What should I look for in a non-toxic crib?
