The Initial Delivery Of My New Organic Mattress
**disclaimer: I received white glove delivery because I am local to the My Green Mattress showroom in the Chicago area. Folks living outside the local delivery area will receive free FedEx shipping and their mattress will be rolled and compressed in a box and delivered to their door.
I was sitting on the porch with my 3 month old daughter when the My Green Mattress truck pulled up in front of my house. It was such a nice surprise and my husband was all excited when I called him outside. I had assumed he would need to help the delivery guys move the mattress into the house but he wasn’t needed at all!.
The two nicest men came out of the truck and asked me if I was ready for my new mattress. All excited, I said “Absolutely! Come on in!”.
They quickly opened the back of the truck and got the mattress out of the truck, followed by the 2-inch luxury organic latex mattress topper for the top. Our house is a pretty old Victorian and they were able to navigate our winding stairs very easily and set the bed up – without even asking!
By the time I got up my stairs, the bed was all set and ready for my bedding to be added. My husband and I immediately jumped into the bed for the first time and sunk into it’s heavenly and plush embrace. I have to tell you – it was magnificent.

My Parents Run In With The My Green Mattress
About a week after we received our new Natural Escape mattress, my parents asked us if they could try it out because they really needed a new mattress. They have been sleeping on a tempurpedic mattress for about 10 years and, after reading all of my work and seeing how we live, they were keen to get their own natural and organic mattress.
So, for an entire week, we had my parents sleep in our bed! I was so interested to hear what my 68 year old mother (with two knee surgeries) and my 70 year old father had to say about it. Let’s just say – I was not let down at all!
